Congratulations on booking your call.
You've just taken a real step toward not only swimming faster, but feeling strong and staying capable for years to come.
I work with a small number of women swimmers over 50 who want to break their plateau, get their energy back, and stay strong and independent for decades, not just have one good season.
Because I take these calls personally and only work with a few women at a time, your spot is being held for you. Keep an eye on your email for anything you need, and show up ready to be honest about where you are and where you want to be.
There are three parts to this conversation.
First, we'll look at where you are now. Your training and how you're eating. Your energy. How your body feels in and out of the water. Your schedule, your sleep, your stress. We'll map out what's actually driving your swimming and your health right now.
Second, we'll get clear on what you want. Are you looking to drop time again, rebuild real strength, get your energy back, swim without pain, or simply feel like yourself again and stay capable into your 70s and 80s? We need clarity on what success looks like for you.
Third, we'll see if it's a fit. I don't work with everyone, and you shouldn't work with just anyone. So I'll walk you through how the programme works, what it asks of you, and what results are realistic.
This isn't a generic plan off the shelf. We build a complete system around you.
When women follow the process, they usually feel stronger in the water within the first few weeks, and the times start to follow. But we're building more than speed. We're building the things that keep you healthy for decades: strength, mobility, energy and staying injury-free.
A quick reality check. Your results come down to your consistency. This isn't about training harder or grinding yourself into the ground. It's the disciplined, steady execution of a simple system that compounds over time.
Short answers to the questions women ask most before these calls. Have a watch, it'll make our conversation far more useful.
If you've swum for years, you've seen plenty of programmes. Most are built for 25 year olds, or they're all about intensity and a quick summer transformation. This is different. It's built specifically for women over 50 with busy lives and bodies that have earned some wear. The goal isn't just fitness, it's swimming faster and protecting your strength, mobility and health for the long run. And it's built on the least training that works, not a six-day grind. If you want a quick challenge, this isn't it. If you want a system that makes you faster now and keeps you strong for the next 20 years, that's exactly what this is.
This is the question I get most, and the answer surprises people. You'll do short, focused sessions two to three times a week, around 45 minutes each, plus a little targeted mobility. How many depends on your schedule and your life. That's it. No daily two-hour workouts, no living in the gym, no taking over your life. It's the minimum effective dose, enough to get you stronger and faster without stealing your energy for the pool. Most women are shocked at how little it takes when the training is built correctly. We build it around your life, not the other way round.
I'm not promising a guarantee. I'm shifting the odds in your favour. The same things that slow a swimmer down after 50, losing muscle, losing mobility, losing capacity, are the same things that steal your health as you age. So we work on all of them. We build lean strength, we free up your mobility, we build your capacity, and we manage your recovery so progress adds up instead of slipping away. When those things improve, you swim faster and you protect your health at the same time. You don't get faster or healthier through hacks. You get there by strengthening the systems that keep you moving well.
If you've been to a physio, you know how it usually goes. You drag yourself in, you do a few exercises, and you leave slightly better than when you walked in. Then it flares up again. That is not what we do. We rehab your injuries and niggles properly, and we do the deep work underneath them, building the strength, mobility and control your body has been missing. The aim isn't to get you slightly less sore. It's to prepare you to perform, in the pool and in your life, at a high level and without pain. Fixing what hurts is where a lot of your lost speed is hiding, and it's where we start.
This isn't for everyone. It's not for someone after a six-week fix or a crash diet. It's not for someone who wants to train every day or chase the latest extreme trend. And it's not for someone who isn't willing to train two or three times a week and follow a plan consistently. This is for disciplined women who want a sustainable system that fits their real life. Women who care about being strong, fast and capable in their 60s and 70s, not just for one meet. If you want intensity without sustainability, this won't suit you. If you want a long-term plan built around speed, strength and health, that's exactly who this is for.
If you're watching this, discipline probably isn't your problem. Most women I work with are already disciplined in the rest of their lives. The issue is usually effort pointed in the wrong place. In your 20s and 30s you could get away with high volume and pushing through fatigue. In your 50s that same approach backfires. Too much volume, too little recovery, and it leads to niggles, stalled progress and frustration, even when you're doing everything you're told. This redirects your discipline to the right levers: the right strength work, the right mobility, and proper recovery. It's not about trying harder. It's about putting your effort where it actually pays off.
You might wonder why I only work with a small number of women at a time. It's deliberate. This isn't a mass-market programme. When someone joins, I'm personally involved in building their plan, reviewing their progress, and adjusting things around their body, their recovery and their life. That level of personal attention doesn't stretch to hundreds of people, and it's not meant to. The women I work with value precision over volume. This is closer to having a coach in your corner than a generic programme. If you want something cheap and hands-off, there are plenty of options. If you want direct access and a plan genuinely built around you, that's what this is.
Let me be straight with you. This isn't a cheap, off-the-shelf programme, and it isn't meant to be. Most low-cost options give you a few workouts and a PDF. What they don't give you is a plan built around your body, real accountability, and someone adjusting it as you go. The women I work with don't struggle because they lack information. They struggle because they've never had a system built around their reality. This is designed to take the guesswork out and save you years of trial and error. When you weigh it against the cost of slowing down, in energy, in health, in the things you can still do, the real question isn't the price. It's the cost of carrying on without a plan. We'll talk about whether it makes sense for you on the call.
You might wonder why women swimmers specifically choose to work with me. It's because I understand what you're actually dealing with. A body that needs more care than it used to. A life that's already full. And no patience for wasting time on training that doesn't work. Most fitness advice is built for people whose whole life is the gym. That's not you. This is built for women who want precision, efficiency and a plan that fits, so every session counts and nothing is wasted. I'm not here to hype you up. I'm here to build the plan that gets you swimming fast again and keeps you strong for the long haul.
Before we speak, I want you to think about something. If nothing changes over the next five years, where is your swimming, and your health, realistically heading? Most women I speak to aren't in any crisis. But they can feel the drift. Times slipping. Energy dipping. Recovery taking longer. Things getting a bit stiffer. The problem was never one year. It's the way it compounds over 5, 10, 15 years. Strength fades, mobility tightens, capacity drops, and once that curve steepens it gets much harder to turn around. The cost of doing nothing isn't sudden. It builds. This exists to interrupt that early, while you've still got plenty to work with. That's what we'll look at on the call.
This is for a very specific kind of woman. Not someone after motivation or entertainment. Someone who values structure, precision and thinking long term. The women I work with approach the rest of their lives with care and standards. They don't guess, they use a plan. This applies that same standard to your swimming and your body. We track what matters, we adjust based on how you're actually responding, and we build around your life. That's why this isn't a generic programme. It's a personalised system for women who take their swimming and their health seriously. If that sounds like you, we'll have a good conversation.
