Congratulations on booking your call.

You've just taken a real step toward turning raw talent into times that get a young swimmer recruited, and building the kind of athlete who reaches their genuine peak instead of stalling below it.

I work with a small number of serious young swimmers who want to hit their full potential, drop real time, and put themselves in the frame for a college scholarship. This is about training right, not just training hard.

Because I take these calls personally and only work with a few swimmers at a time, your spot is being held for you. Come to the call ready to be honest about where the swimming is now and where you want it to go.

What we'll cover

There are three parts to this conversation.

First, where the swimmer is now. Their training, their events, their times, how their body moves and holds up, their schedule and how they recover. We'll map out what's actually driving their performance and what's capping it.

Second, the goal. Peak potential, dropping serious time, a specific scholarship or level to reach, and the timeline to do it in. We need to be clear on what success looks like and how long we've got.

Third, whether it's a fit. I don't work with everyone. So I'll walk you through how the programme works, what it asks of the swimmer, and what results are realistic in the time you have.

How the programme works

This isn't a generic plan. We build a complete performance system around the swimmer.

Talent gets a swimmer noticed. Times get them recruited. The job of this programme is to build the physical engine that turns their talent into times, so they hit their ceiling rather than plateauing well below it.

A quick reality check. Results come down to consistency. This isn't about grinding harder or piling on volume. It's the disciplined, well-timed execution of a smart plan that compounds over a season and a career.

Who you're working with

I've coached swimmers at every level, right up to the very top of the sport, including working with Chad le Clos to lifetime best times and double world gold medals. The same principles that develop a world champion are exactly what we use to build a young swimmer toward their peak.

Watch these before we speak

Short answers to the questions swimmers and parents ask most before these calls. Watch them, it'll make our conversation far more useful.

01
How is this different from other swim or dryland programmes?

You've probably seen plenty of dryland. Most of it is generic circuits, burpees and star jumps that leave a swimmer tired and no faster. This is different. It's built specifically to develop a young swimmer toward their genetic peak, with strength, power and robustness aimed at faster times, not just a sweat. The goal isn't fitness. It's turning talent into the kind of performances that get a swimmer recruited. If you want a random workout to tire them out, this isn't it. If you want a system built to reach their ceiling, that's exactly what this is.

02
How much time will this take on top of pool training?

This surprises people. It's two to three short, focused strength sessions a week, around 45 minutes each, plus a little targeted mobility. How many depends on their schedule and their pool load. That's it. No daily gym grind, no burning them out. It's the minimum effective dose, built to make them stronger and more powerful without stealing energy from their swimming or their schoolwork. It fits around a heavy training week, not on top of it.

03
How does this actually lead to faster times and scholarships?

Here's the honest chain. Talent gets a swimmer noticed. Times get them recruited. What turns talent into times is the physical engine underneath: strength, power off the walls and blocks, a stroke that holds up when they're tired, and a body that stays healthy enough to train hard for years. We build all of that. When those improve, the times drop, and dropping time in the right events at the right age is what puts a swimmer on a coach's radar. We train for peak potential, and we do it in the window that matters.

04
Who this is NOT for

This isn't for everyone. It's not for a swimmer looking for a quick fix or a parent hoping for a magic pill. It's not for someone who won't commit to training properly a couple of times a week and following a plan. This is for serious young athletes who genuinely want to reach the top of what they're capable of, and families who understand that getting there takes smart, consistent work. If the swimmer isn't bought in, this won't work. If they are, and they want to hit their ceiling, this is built for exactly that.

05
Why talent and hard work haven't been enough on their own

If you're here, the swimmer is probably already talented and already training hard. So why the plateau? Because talent and pool volume alone stop being enough at a certain level. The swimmers who keep progressing have built the strength, power and robustness on land to match. Without that, a talented kid trains and trains and slowly stalls below their potential, often picking up niggles along the way. This isn't about working harder. It's about adding the missing piece so all that talent and effort finally shows up on the clock.

06
Why I only work with a small number of swimmers

You might wonder why I only take a small number of swimmers at a time. It's deliberate. When a swimmer joins, I'm personally involved in building their plan, tracking their progress and adjusting things around their events, their growth and their schedule. That level of attention doesn't stretch to hundreds of people, and it's not meant to. The families I work with want precision, not a mass-market app. If you want something cheap and hands-off, there are plenty of options. If you want a plan genuinely built around your swimmer, that's what this is.

07
Why this isn't a cheap programme

Let me be straight. This isn't a cheap, off-the-shelf plan, and it isn't meant to be. Most low-cost options give you a PDF and a few workouts, not a plan built around your swimmer, real accountability, and someone adjusting it as they develop. When you weigh it against what's actually at stake, the times, the peak years, and for many families a college scholarship worth far more than the programme ever costs, the real question isn't the price. It's the cost of getting these years wrong. We'll talk about whether it makes sense for your swimmer on the call.

08
Why serious young swimmers work with me

Serious swimmers and their families work with me because I understand what actually develops a young athlete to the top, and I've done it at the highest level. I know the recruiting timeline, the growth and development window, and the physical work that turns a talented kid into a fast one. Most dryland advice is generic and built for no one in particular. This is built around your swimmer and aimed at their peak. I'm not here to hype anyone up. I'm here to build the swimmer that colleges want.

09
The real cost of doing nothing

Before we speak, think about the window. A young swimmer only gets a few years where the right development makes the biggest difference, and the recruiting window is shorter than most families realise. If nothing changes, a talented swimmer keeps training hard and slowly stalls, picks up niggles, and watches swimmers who were once behind them move ahead. The cost of doing nothing isn't dramatic day to day. It's the potential left on the table, and the times, and sometimes the scholarships, that quietly slip out of reach. This exists to make the most of that window while it's open. That's what we'll look at on the call.

10
What makes this different at the top end

This is for a specific kind of swimmer and family. Not someone after motivation or entertainment. Someone who takes performance seriously and thinks long term. I've worked at the very top of this sport, including helping Chad le Clos to lifetime bests and double world gold medals, and the same principles that build a world champion are what we use to develop your swimmer. We track what matters, we adjust based on how they're actually responding, and we build everything around reaching their peak. That's why this isn't a generic programme. It's a personalised system for swimmers who are serious about how far they can go.
